Today we met up a wedding photographer named Michael Goodson for a light discussion about the possibility of a wedding photography on our big day. As I first spoke to him on the phone he left me a very good and humble impression. His house is near to Eight Mile Plains, so if he does become our photographer, it will definitely make things easier. Michael and his wife Andrea has been working together as wedding/portrait photographers for more than 16 years and their first starting ground was in Germany, where they came from.
As soon as we were brought to our seats at their house, we found ourselves surrounded by many wall portraits of wedding photos in big or small frames. Their photographic skills are great and obviously they are more than friendly and happy people. They showed us the pictures they’ve capture for the latest weddings which are not made available on their website yet. The photos are pretty, especially for the Asian bride and groom. Loved especially the shots taken at beach and mountain top. On the day both of them will be there with us. Andrea takes care of all the editing job and they have kindly promised to post on the website of our photos the next 2 days so that we can show them to our reception guests in KK and KL after our wedding in Brisbane.
At the end we only signed up for the DVD coverage package as we believe this is what we wanted for the moment. My FH prefers to be able to arrange the pictures himself in his own ways (man’s ego?! keke!). Moreover we are going back to Malaysia for an outdoor and indoor photo-shoot too. So we shall make up our mind regarding the albums after that time.
In conclusion, it was a very pleasant dealing with Michael and Andrea. Definitely we are happy to render to their service as attracted by their friendliness and thoughtfulness. I expressed my concerns for not being able to pose nicely for the photos. Without hesitation or despise, they offered to give us the best help to make us feel comfortable and comfort us that it’s many couple’s concern too which they have no problem in dealing with. I am finally relieved…
I realised that many photographers do not update their website often enough. I guess when their work are pilling on top of their schedule sure enough they wouldn’t think of spending time updating their website portfolio, though I think is a wise and impactful investment. For instance, we don’t have time to meet with all the photographers so surely website is the only place where we can look at their portfolio and artwork as well as the latest skills they portrait or mastered.
